• Cine.1 Dual-Stage 15/19mm Rod-Mount Matte Box The completely modular Cine.1 Matte Box from Chrosziel is built to be strong yet lightweight to fit into your handheld or studio camera rig. Having a matte box on the front of your lens allows you more flexilbility in lighting your scene by blocking light sources just out of frame from directly entering the lens, which can cause the lens to flare, and introduce image artifacts. This particular iteration of the Cine.1 series can be mounted on 15 or 19mm rods, and is configured with two filter stages, however, it can be configured to hold either one or three filters with addition or removal of filter stages.

  Included Top Flag
  • A top flag (also called an eyebrow) is included to block extraneous light from above. The flag folds in half for a smaller footprint when it's packed away. As an added touch, the flag has security holes which mate with safety latches on the matte box, preventing the flag from accidentally falling during installation.
  Construction
  • The Cine.1 matte box housing is constructed from high-impact polymer blend. This material is very rigid and resistant to cracking, yet keeps the weight of the matte box down as to not unbalance your rig. The surround is constructed from aluminum
  Expandability
  • Using the multiple threaded mounting points, accessories such as side flags, rosettes, a filter catcher, and a top accessory plate, can be attached to expand the functionality of the Cine.1 matte box.
• StudioRig Cine Follow Focus (Single Sided) The Chrosziel StudioRig Cine is a professional single-sided follow focus for precise focus actuation on high-end cinema lenses. The single-sided design of this StudioRig Cine features a low-profle rod-clamp form factor for fitting underneath large lenses. However, as it is only single-sided, the entire follow focus must be reattached to adjust focus from the other side of the lens. Once the follow focus is clamped down on the rods, swing the arm to engage the drive gear to the lens. Drive gears are available separately from the StudioRig unit. A white dry-erase marking disk and focus crank are included with the follow focus.
• Focus Drive Gear for Studio Rig Follow Focus Systems (0.8, 44 Teeth) Compatible with Studio Rig follow focus systems, this mod 0.8 Follow Focus Drive Gear from Chrosziel is 36.8mm in diameter, has 44 teeth, and is 8mm thick. It is ideal for use with compact cine-style prime lenses.
• 150mm FlexiBellows for MB 565 MatteBox The FlexiBellows from Chrosziel is a 150mm rubber retaining ring with a 35mm (approx.) flexible rubber bellows, and it is designed to fit 70 to 110mm diameter lenses. This lens retaining ring is compatible with the MB 565 MatteBox.
