Product description Chrosziel's Kit R2 for Canon XF305/XF300 is a perfect choice for setting up a compact rig with the Canon XF305/XF300. It fits onto 15mm rods. Filters get inserted into it from above, and can then be rotated sideways according to the rotating mechanism that is used. The R20 comes ready with included Chrosziel (410-04) 4 x 4" and 4 x 5.65" multi-format filter holders and (402-12) 4 x 4" for the rear stage, including a French flag and front mask. (Please always use the front mask for a focal length of 4.5mm or more. It effectively increases the image quality as opposed to flaps mounted in front of the lens.)
This kit has the 450-R2 mattebox with Carbon-Design, which is lightweight and robust and comes with a double filter-stage, a 16:9 aspect ratio mask (mask insert that fits into the mattebox and shields from stray light, etc.), a (450-11) French flag, and a pivot mechanism set for the use of side wings (side wings not included). It also has two rotatable filter holders 4 x 4" (402-12) and multi-format 4 x 4"/4 x 5.65" (410-04), a bracket for 15mm rods, a cover end plate with thread 110mm (401-63), lightweight support for Canon (for tripod plate), and a (410-39) Flexi-insertring 110:75-98mm.
(The Chrosziel C-401-415 Lightweight Support System is designed specifically to accommodate Chrosziel's mattebox when using the Canon XF305/XF300 camcorder. To add the support, simply install the center bracket to the mattebox, install the lightweight support base to the camera, and insert the industry standard 15mm rods directly between the center bracket and the lightweight support base.)
