Product description Build your Sony FS5 into a familiar form factor with Chrosziel's LWS Baseplate for Sony FS5 and Handgrip Extender kit. While the FS5 is secured atop the baseplate, the Handgrip Extender allows for comfortable placement and adjustment of the handgrip while shoulder mounted; increasing stability while maintaining the convenient immediate control the handgrip provides. The baseplate complies with the 15mm LWS standard, so you can build up your rig using compatible follow focus systems and matte boxes. See below for more information on the items included in this kit. - Lightweight Support for Sony PXW-FS5 with Rods The Chrosziel Lightweight Support for the FS5 with Rods features a V-mount plate on the bottom for attaching to VCT-14 plates, and has a sliding shoulder pad that extends out to provide ample space for fully securing onto a VCT-14 plate. Furthermore, there's a slot on the bottom rear that the securing stud of VCT-14 plates secures into for reliable attachment.
Additionally, the Lightweight Support includes a flexible tripod adapter plate with mounting holes that allow for optimal attachment on most tripods or the optional Chrosziel DigiCine Bridge Plate, as well as ensure that the correct optical axis height is achieved when using 19mm studio setups. The Lightweight Support also features ARRI-standard rosette adapters for compatible handgrips and easy-to-use clamp levers throughout. The extendable shoulder pad, in addition to accommodating VCT-14 plates, also extends out to allow you to find the ideal balance with your FS5. - Handgrip Extender with Bayonet Lock for Sony FS5
