A single-axis lens control system with room for expansion, the Mini Controller Basic Kit from Cinegears allows you to set up a wireless lens control system on your camera system, equipped with either a cine-style geared lens or lens that does not feature a focus gear. The Mini Controller features a built-in rechargeable battery with approximately eight working hours of power per charge, offers 15 selectable speeds, and allows you to program up to two focus presets. It incorporates a start/stop record trigger button and small LED screen that shows focus depth. The kit comes with a 19mm rod clamp bracket and 19mm to 15mm adapter bushing, so that you can mount the motor on either 15mm or 19mm support rods.
Included with the kit is a customizable rubber gear that you can mount on a lens lacking the necessary cine-style focus gear. The motor comes with a cine-style drive gear that can be swapped out when using ENG-style lenses with either Canon or Fuji-style gearing (replacement gears not included). This basic kit fits into a waterproof case with foam inserts to protect your equipment during transport and while in storage.
Mini Controller
The wireless controller features an internal battery that can run the controller for approximately eight hours on a single charge.
The controller supports auto calibration, manual calibration, and lens remapping.
You can program focus pre-sets into the controller and then transition between the focus points at the push of a button with adjustable transition speed.
Manual calibration allows you to set close and far distance stops when using an infinitely rotating lens.

Wireless Control
The motor incorporates a wireless receiver that allows you to control it via your Cinegears Single-Axis Wireless Controller. An optional LANC cable/remote trigger is required for camera start/stop. An optional 2-pin LEMO cable is required to provide power to the motor.
Metal Drive Gear
The included aluminum 0.8 MOD gear fits cine-style lens gears. The gear is removable, so you can swap it out for optional gears for video lenses and non-standard lens gears. The gear's motor-facing surface is made from chrome-plated stainless steel, which matches the facing surface of the motor drive.
Motor Function
The motor will calibrate itself to your lens and allow you to remap the lens to your controller. You can program multiple stop points, which is especially useful when working with infinitely rotating lenses, or if you wish the set specific focus points on an optional focus handwheel.
Reversible
The motor drive is reversible, which allows you to use lenses that focus in the opposite direction from standard without having to add a physical reversing gear.
2" Rod Bracket
Provides height adjustment when used with an optional Cinegears Lens Control Motor.
The 19mm clamp is designed to work specifically with 19mm support rods.
The spring-loaded locking levers allow you to tighten or loosen the clamps, even when you do not have room to rotate the lever through 360° of rotation. If the lever becomes blocked, you gently pull up on the lever, rotate it back, and then lower it to continue tightening or loosening it.
Customizable Geared Lens Ring
The strip comes pre-scored for accurate trimming and with pre-formed holes for the metal clip that turns the rubber strip into lens gear.
The 0.8 MOD gear teeth interface with industry standard 32-pitch cine-style follow focus drive gears.
You customize the flexible rubber strip to fit your lens. After cutting the strip to length, you butt the ends together and insert the metal clip to form the lens gear.
