Product description The CineRAID CR-H116 USB 3.0 Hard Drive Dock makes it easy to retrieve or save data to an internal hard drive or SSD. It features a top-loading design that can accept a 3.5" or 2.5" drive, which has a SATA type I, II, or III interface. With hot-swap and Plug-and-Play compatibility, you can instantly access your information without configuring or installing software.
This USB docking station connects to your Windows, Mac, or Linux system via a USB 3.0 connection. Enhancing USB 3.0 speeds, it delivers up to 70% faster reads and 40% faster writes with UASP. In addition, this USB connection supports 2.0 and 1.1 to work with a wide range of USB-enabled systems. Included along with the dock are a power cable and USB 3.0 cable. - USB 3.0 with UASP Support
- Utilizing a UASP-enabled host, the CR-H116 delivers up to 70% faster read speeds and 40% faster write speeds when compared to a typical USB 3.0 connection. The standard USB 3.0 format is limited by the original USB BOT (Bulk Only Transfer) specification, which is designed for USB 2.0. With UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), it optimizes data transfers by allowing multiple simultaneous commands, while BOT only handles one command at a time. UASP simply reduces wait times, maximizes bandwidth utilization, and enables faster efficient transfers. Furthermore, UASP uses up to 80% less processing power and is supported in systems running Windows 8, Mac 10.8, or Linux.
