Product description The CineRAID USB 3.0 / eSATA 4-Bay RAID Enclosure features four tool-less drive bays that can each hold an optional 2.5" or 3.5" hard drive up to 6TB in capacity. Once drives are installed, you hardware configure these drives via a dipswitch or GUI software into RAID 0, 1, 10, 3, or 5 mode. This software program also monitors your drives and alerts you in the event of a failure. With the hot swap feature, you can replace a drive without powering down the enclosure to begin the rebuild process immediately.
CineRAID has built this RAID enclosure with USB 3.0 and eSATA ports to move data across a Windows, Mac, or Linux system. In addition, it allows you to work with multi-stream standard definition as well as compressed HD workflows. Included along with the compact enclosure are a USB 3.0 cable, eSATA cable, and a power adapter with cord. - Easy RAID Setup / Management
- The CineRAID Home H458 comes with an easy dipswitch hardware RAID setup for customizable speed and protection levels. Additionally, you can use the intuitive GUI software that allows you to create, setup, and monitor RAID status within seconds. When there is a drive failure, you will be notified immediately. The hot-swappable feature allows you to replace the indicated failed drive and begin the rebuild process swiftly with the least amount of user intervention.
