Product description - Cinevate Hedron - Review
- A Look at Cinevate's New Camera Slider, Hedron
The 36" Hedron Camera Slider from Cinevate provides smooth, precise sliding motion for camera rigs up to 40 lb. It delivers horizontal, angled, or vertical movements, and can be operated manually or electronically using the optional Moco add-on for motorized timelapse or real time movements.
Constructed from CNC machined aluminum with reinforced steel drive belts and stainless steel fasteners, the Hedron Slider is strong and lightweight. The carriage has a 3/8"-16 screw for attaching a tripod head, and features micro-adjustable rollers that provide precise and virtually silent operation. Disc brakes on the carriage let you lock your camera in place anywhere on the rails. When used on the ground or flat surface, height adjustable legs with urethane ball feet help you get perfectly level shots on a variety of terrain. For elevated used, the slider has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads along the center and at either side of the slider for use with tripods, c-stands, or light stands.
The features and functionality of the Hedron Slider can be expanded with the addition of optional accessories. For motorized camera moves, the slider is fully compatible with Cinevate's Moco motion control system for capturing timelapse videos, stop motion sequences, or real time motion shots - all with the same motion control kit. When used with the Counterbalance add-on, the Moco can provide angled or vertical motorized shots with camera rigs up to 25 lb. For added precision with manually controlled shots, the optional Fly-Wheel can be added. The Fly-Wheel enables consistent and smooth movement, even at slow speeds, with smooth starts and stops. - Key Features
