Product description The Cinevate Grip Reacher V2 is a versatile grip arm designed to attach to various supports and let you perform articulating camera movements. Offering an 18" reach with toolless length and tilt adjustment at both ends, the Grip Reacher V2 enables you to extend your camera out and set it to a height and tilt position that your shot requires. When used with a slider, it allows you to get sliding overhead macro shots, ground-scraping slides or pushes, and many other types of shots. You can raise it all the way up and push in on something that's way overhead, perhaps a spider web in the corner of a ceiling. Or, when shooting from a high position, you can tilt the camera facing all the way down and get a moving overhead shot of something up close, like something on a table. The possibilities are many.
The Grip Reacher V2 weighs only 2 lb and supports up to 7 lb loads. It can be attached to just about any support, including a car mount. The mounting plate features one 3/8"-16 and four 1/4"-20 non-threaded pass-through holes. To attach it to a support that has a 3/8"-16 stud, just place it over the stud and then secure it from the top with the included 3/8"-16 cross handle. For 1/4"-20 mounting, it doesn't attach to 1/4"-20 studs but rather secures to 1/4"-20 holes, which are generally found on most support platforms. Think of it as securing two cheese plates together. Align one of the Grip Reacher's four 1/4"-20 holes on top of the 1/4"-20 hole offered on your support, and then secure the two together using an included 1/4"-20 T-handle bolt. A 3/8"-16 T-handle bolt is also supplied to provide an alternative to 3/8"-16 stud mounting. The cross handle and 1/4"-20 T-handle bolt come screwed in on the sides of the Grip Reacher, so you won't need to carry them around separately. On the camera end, the platform offers both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting options.
The kip levers on both ends of the unit allow you to adjust the arm's length, while tilt adjustment is done by repositioning adjustable pin screws on the opposite side. The Grip Reacher V2 also supports the Cinevate Modo-Pan time-lapse system as an add-on, allowing another dimension of possibilities. - Key Features
