Product description The Hedron Counterbalance & Dromos Add-On Kit from Cinevate aids in capturing vertical, diagonal, and horizontal camera moves with a Hedron slider. It consists of a belt and pulley system, counterbalance carriage, a Dromos riser mounting system, and all necessary assembly hardware. Once installed, optional Hedron counterbalance weights can be attached to the counterbalance carriage. Counterweights are stackable to offset heaver camera rigs. The add-on also allows you to use a Moco motion control motor for both vertical and horizontal shots. The counterbalance carriage attaches to Hedron slider using four wheels with adjustable spacing, ensuring a secure fit on the rail. The drive belt is then fed through and connected to the counterbalance and slider carriages using the supplied pulley system and mounting hardware. In order to allow the counterbalance carriage and any attached weights to pass underneath the slider when mounted on a tripod, you must use the Dromos riser mounting system. The Dromos riser includes two side walls, two adapter blocks, a bottom plate, vertical mounting plate, and the screws required to assemble them to the slider. The pieces can be configured to mount your slider horizontally or vertically on a tripod. A cross handle tie down is included to secure your slider to your tripod. In vertical shooting mode, any added counterbalance weights are used to take the weight of the camera rig off of your Moco motor, letting you balance loads up to 25 lb. Adding counterbalance weights also lets you perform smooth vertical slides manually, without having to use a motor. Counterweights are also useful for adding stability in horizontal setups, offsetting the weight of your camera rig when it's at the ends of the slider track. Please note: Counterbalance weights are not included. -
