Product description The MB2-2D SORBER Microphone Baffle Kit from ClearSonic gives you the components needed to minimize bleed and eliminate unwanted reflections when recording with a microphone in a smaller space. The kit features a MBKT24 Bracket, two dark gray S2D SORBER Baffles, and two touch-fastener patches, each cut into 6” sections. This kit is easy to assemble and mounts directly to your existing mic stand. By placing the bracket with baffles behind the microphone, you can diminish the effects of the sound being reflected back to the mic and the amount of sound energy going out into the room. Suitable for rooms without proper acoustic treatment, this microphone baffle kit can also be used to reduce ambient noise in rehearsal studios or in control rooms where the performer has to operate the recording device. It works well with any microphone and is especially effective for cardioid pattern mics as they pick up sound from the sides and rear.
