Product description With a single 145-lumen white-light output from five LEDs, the COAST HL4 Dual-Color Utility Beam LED Headlamp strips away the fluff to give you a general-purpose utilitarian tool for any illumination task.The white light LEDs are configured to produce the Utility Beam design that is defined by a broad beam with a brighter and larger center spot of light and a limited and diffused spill—this maximizes the output to fully illuminate your work area. A secondary red LED provides illumination without affecting night-adjusted vision for tasks such as changing eyepieces or filters during astronomy sessions or moving around without disturbing tent or cabin mates. The angle of the light head can be adjusted down as much as 90° for precise beam placement to fully illuminate where you're working.Its batteries are located on the back of the adjustable headband in a battery holder to more evenly distribute the weight, making the light more comfortable to wear for extended periods without slipping forward when you're leaning over or causing neck strain. To withstand inclement weather, the housing is IPX4-rated to be water resistant against splashing water or rain. Comfortable, compact, and lightweight, the HL4 comes ready to use with three AAA batteries and a set of hard hat clips in clamshell packaging.
