Product description Optimized for power and throw while being extremely versatile, the COAST HP314R Long Range Focusing Rechargeable LED Flashlight is designed with a focusable beam with two outputs and is capable of running on both rechargeable and disposable batteries to ensure you are never without light when you need it.Using four alkaline disposable batteries, the light outputs 165 lumens on low and emits a darkness-obliterating high output of 1200 lumens. A third output produces a disorienting strobe, which will come in handy to ward off potential threats. With one-handed operation, the head slides forward and back to use the versatile Long-Range Focusing system, which allows you to change the beam from a wide flood that lights large areas close to you to a focused spotlight that is optimized for a long-distance throw.The HP314R is capable of running on two different battery chemistries, and COAST provides both to get you started. First, you have four easy-to-find D-cell batteries that provide the maximum output intensity on both low and high settings. A lithium-ion (Li-ion) rechargeable battery pack is included that can be charged in or out of the light using the charging kit accessories. The Li-ion pack produces somewhat lower outputs, and runtimes will be a bit different, but at least you won't be left in the dark.With a solid feel in the hand and powerful high-lumen output, the light is up to any daily task you give it—from lighting a room, basecamp, or other large areas to showing the way far ahead. The light comes complete with batteries, a removable shoulder strap, and protective rubber bezel ring and tailcap cup that all fit in the included carrying case. - Light Performance
