• NUANCES Extreme P Series ND 3.0 Filter (10-Stop) The Cokin NUANCES Extreme P Series ND 3.0 Filter is a neutral density filter with a 1000x filter factor that provides a 10-stop exposure reduction and is designed for use with a Cokin P Series Filter Holder. Its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.Cokin NUANCES Extreme filters are constructed from tempered, shock-resistant glass and feature nano-metallic alloy film coatings on both sides of the filter surface to attenuate infrared light while maintaining true color fidelity, even when stacked with other Cokin NUANCES or NUANCES Extreme filters. Anti-glare coatings further help to reduce surface reflections for increased contrast and clarity, while additional hydrophobic coatings result in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency. Additionally, Cokin NUANCES Extreme filters feature C-shaped edges. This rounded edge shape resists chipping to further enhance durability.
  
  For use with a Cokin P Series Filter Holder or a Cokin P Series Wide-Angle Filter Holder, a light-blocking gasket is included. This gasket forms a seal that is intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between the filter and the lens behind it.

• NUANCES Extreme P Series Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Filter (3-Stop) The Cokin NUANCES Extreme P Series Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Filter is a filter designed for use with a Cokin P Series Filter Holder. It helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a soft-edged line of transition is able to filter the sky while minimizing its effect on the land. It is particularly useful where the transition between sky and foreground is indeterminate, such as images featuring mist, fog, or the tops of trees. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and this filter provides up to a 3-stop reduction in light from entering a lens.

• NUANCES Extreme P Series Soft-Edge Reverse-Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 to 0.3 Filter (2 to 1-Stop) The Cokin NUANCES Extreme P Series Soft-Edge Reverse-Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 to 0.3 Filter is a filter designed for use with a Cokin P Series Filter Holder. It can be applied to darken bright skies, specifically during a sunrise or sunset, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image.
  
  This filter achieves its effect with a 0.6 band of density across its center region that provides a 2-stop reduction in light from entering a lens. This band extends in both vertical directions which tapers to a 0.3 density that provides a 1-stop reduction in light at the edge above it. Directly below the 0.6 band of density, it tapers to clear, with a soft-edged line of transition before the clear area.
  
  The placement of a 0.6 band of density that tapers to a density of 0.3 above it with a clear area directly below, allows the Cokin NUANCES Extreme P Series Soft-Edge Reverse-Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 to 0.3 Filter to match the positioning of the sun when it is at, or immediately above the horizon. In such instances, the sun can appear closer to the center of an image as opposed to the upper edge, and an increase in brightness is created that is more prominent on both sides of the sun than above it. This pattern of brightness corresponds to the density pattern on the Cokin NUANCES Extreme P Series Soft-Edge Reverse-Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 to 0.3 Filter. The soft-edged line of transition in this reverse, graduated neutral density filter is useful for soft transitions between the sky and land, while the 2-stop to 1-stop gradation is applicable to multiple regions of brightness within the sky.
