Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Riviera Classic from Cokin is an aluminum, 3-section tripod which utilizes a retro design to combine vintage looks with modern features. Sold as a complete kit, the Riviera Classic includes a set of twist-lock equipped aluminum legs and a 2-way pan and tilt head.
Designed as a multi-use tripod and intended for any user, the Riviera stands at a maximum height of 63" and folds down to just 23.6" for convenient transport and storage. The aluminum leg design provides a stable and quality build which, combined with the head, brings the tripod's total weight to 3.4 lb. Capable of holding up to 11 lb, the Riviera is intended to accommodate most compact, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras with light to mid-weight lenses.
Extending the tripod's leg sections is easy with the use of all-metal, wide, knurled twist locks which provide the user with a secure grip. The additional adjustment knobs on the tripod are also knurled and machined from aluminum, enhancing the tripod's overall durability. Each leg is also outfitted with a stylish leather leg warmer which, aside from maintaining the tripod's retro looks, also protects the users hands from the aluminum legs, which may heat up or cool down in extreme temperatures.
The tripod also comes equipped with a 2-way pan and tilt head, which allows the user to alter their camera's position along the horizontal and vertical axis. The head's movement is controlled by a single handle that features a unique wooden grip made from durable Iroko wood, which will elegantly wear over time. The head also features an easy to use quick release system that includes a plate for rapid mounting and dismounting of the camera. Also included is a canvas drawstring case, which can used to carry the tripod over the shoulder or protect it during storage or transport.
