Product description This Cokin X-Pro Series Solid Neutral Density Filter Kit contains three filters that can be used individually or in various combinations to create a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
The included filters consist of 130 x 170mm solid neutral density filters that reduce the amount of light entering a lens by one, two, and three stops, respectively. To allow these filters to be placed in front of a lens, a separately-available Cokin X-Pro Series filter holder and a Cokin X-Pro Series lens adapter ring are required. Each filter is made of durable, optical resin (CR39) and measures 3mm thick. - X-Pro Series ND 0.3 Filter (1-Stop) The Cokin X-Pro Series ND 0.3 Filter is a neutral density filter providing a 1-stop exposure reduction. This 0.3 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
Cokin filters are constructed from optical resin and are notably light in weight, have a high resistance to shocks and drops, and provide optimum light transmission for high image quality. This filter measures 5.1 x 6.7" / 130 x 170mm and is compatible with the Cokin X-Pro filter holder. - 0.3 neutral density filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required.
