Product description The 4-port Intelligent Redundant Ring Gigabit Switch from COMNET features two 10/100/1000Base-Tx copper ports and two 100/1000Base-FX SFP ports. It provides various functions like DIP switch-based operation of RSTP for creating redundant network topologies, preventing network video flooding of multicast traffic when used in a linear or star topology, and more. Ports 1 and 2 of this switch can supply up to 30W of power per port based on the IEEE 802.3at standard. The switch is fully compatible with the ComNet CopperLine SFP modules for operation over extended distance UTP or Coax cable. - RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), Multicast Flooding Prevention (in Star/Linear topologies only), and dual redundant SFP mode can be enabled without programming
- Electrical ports support auto-negotiation for 10, 100, or 1000 Mb/s, full duplex or half duplex data
- SFP ports are compatible with CopperLine CL-SFP modules and supports 100 or 1000 Mbps full duplex data
- Automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover
- PoE status monitoring and automatic reboot function
- Event notification through SNMP traps and relay output
- Voltage transient protection on all power and signal input/output lines provide protection from power surges and other voltage transient events
- Supports LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol)
- SNMP v1/v2c for network management
- Designed to meet full compliance with the environmental requirements of NEMA TS-1/TS-2 and the Caltrans Specification for Traffic Signal Control Equipment
- Redundant AC/DC inputs for uninterrupted operation in the event of a loss of operating power or a power supply failure
- Can be DIN-rail mounted using ComNet DINBKT2 or DINBKT4 adapters (not included)
