Product description The Comprehensive 500' 28-Gauge HDMI Bulk Cable is designed to allow both commercial and residential installers to fully utilize the HD signals of their sources and displays without converting them by allowing them to run and terminate HDMI cables to the exact lengths needed as they have done with analog cables. The installers can quickly and easily terminate HDMI assemblies to custom lengths in the field using exciting new HDMI termination products.
It consists of an innovatively designed connector assembly and crimp tool that uses the reliable IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) termination process to quickly and easily terminate HDMI cables in the field. It will work with 28 or 30 gauge HDMI bulk cable. Native lengths of up to 40’ (12.19 m) can be achieved while supporting 1080p resolution. Longer lengths can be achieved by pairing up the cables with Comprehensive's HDMI booster solutions (sold separately) (exact resolutions and lengths depends upon equipment). The field terminated cables have not passed the required HDMI compliance testing to be considered as complaint cables. - 28 gauge HDMI bulk cable for field termination
