Product description The Comprehensive CHE-HDBT2020 HDBaseT Extender Kit includes an HDMI transmitter and receiver that can extend an HDMI 2.0 signal up to 230' at 4K resolutions and 330' at HD resolutions over widely available Category cable. Both the transmitter and receiver have HDMI, RS-232, IR, and power connectivity. To extend the signal, this kit uses the HDBaseT protocol, muxing the HDMI A/V signal, alongside the IR and RS-232 control signals and power, to fit over a Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. Since the signals are not modified in any way, there is no quality loss and multi-channel audio as well as HDCP and EDID are maintained. PoE is supported, so this kit only needs to be powered from either the transmitter or receiver end. IR transmitters and receivers are included for maintaining device control over long distances.
