Product description The Comprehensive HD30RB-CC10 HDMI 30 Gauge Ribbon Connector and Clamshell (10 Pack) allows installers to quickly and easily terminate HDMI assemblies to custom lengths in the field. It allows both commercial and residential installers to fully utilize the HD signals of their sources and displays without converting them by giving them the ability to run and terminate HDMI cables to the exact lengths needed on demand. It consists of a uniquely designed connector assembly and crimp tool that uses the reliable IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) termination process to quickly and easily terminate HDMI cables in the field. The connector works with 30 gauge HDMI bulk cables. Native lengths of up to 40’ (12.19 m) can be achieved while supporting 1080p resolution. Longer lengths can be achieved by pairing up the cables with one of the Comprehensive's HDMI booster solutions (sold separately; exact resolutions and lengths dependent upon equipment). Note: Field terminated cables have not passed the required HDMI compliance testing to be considered as compliant cables. - Terminates HDMI in the field
