Product description Maximize your video and audio capabilities with the 75' Comprehensive Pro AV/IT 18 Gb/s 4K Active Fiber Optic Plenum HDMI Cable. This HDMI cable is designed for commercial and corporate locations that require advanced audio and video support. This cable fully supports the HDMI 2.0b specification, which provides up to 18 Gb/s of bandwidth for 4K Ultra HD video at 60Hz, with 4:4:4 color space, HDCP, HDR, and aspect ratio compatibility up to 21:9 wide angle theatrical-sized displays.
This cable is active, unidirectional, and plenum rated. As part of being plenum rated, this cable features a low-smoke, fire-retardant jacket, and can be routed inside walls and between floors. The unidirectional design requires this cable to be installed in the correct direction, so Comprehensive added the words "Source" and "Display" on the connectors to make installation easier. Active components are built into the cable to perform electrical-to-optical signal conversion, drawing power from the HDMI port so no external power sources are required.
Inside this cable is a polymer fiber optic core versus the more traditional glass. This helps to make the cable thinner and more flexible so it can handle tighter bends during installation. Fiber optic technology also provides you with low power consumption and a greater immunity to EM/RF noise and interference.
