Product description The 10' USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C Male Cable from Comprehensive allows you to connect external USB Type-C devices, such as the Google Nexus 5X, Google Nexus 6P, and more to your compatible USB Type-C system, such as the Apple MacBook Pro, Apple MacBook, Google Chromebook Pixel, or any other computer with a USB Type-C port. USB 3.1 Gen 1, also known as USB 3.0, provides a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gb/s through its reversible USB Type-C connector, meaning that the connector can be inserted whether oriented right-side up or flipped upside down.
Comprehensive's USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C Male Cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 at speeds up to 480 Mb/s, and USB 1.1/1.0 at speeds up to 12 Mb/s. It has a low-profile design, which helps make it more robust, as well as Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) construction, which helps to block electromagnetic interference and ensure more reliable data communications.
