Product description This 0.5x, 5 Megapixel Lens in C-Mount for 1" Sensors from computar is designed for machine vision applications. It is a fixed focal length lens that resolves an image on 1" cameras with 5MP sensors, and it incorporates a C-Mount. Featuring a minimum working distance of 2.56", while providing a 0.5x magnification, the lens has low corner distortion of -0.014%. - Telecentric lenses are designed so that the light exiting the rear element is perpendicular to the sensor. Non-telecentric lens designs allow the light to strike the sensor at an angle, which can lead to vignetting at the edge and corners of the sensor. The telecentric design of the lens minimizes vignetting.
