Product description The Compuvideo CV-6000 N(RM) Master Sync A/V Generator is a professional A/V generator that offers user friendly, direct function, smart front panel control with last settings memory and auto power back-up. It assures work without any interruption even if power is lost. The unit can be used in rack mount, desktop, or handheld configurations. Powered by AC/DC power and/or internal 9V batteries, this generator has 10 hours of average operation and low battery indication. All outputs can be used at the same time. The unit provides broadcast high quality test patterns (SMPTE Bars, Full Field Bars, Grayscale, Black Reference, Red, Green, Blue, White, Center, Cross, and Dots) and 6 black reference outputs to independent Genlock video/audio Systems. Specially designed black reference and test pattern generators are separately buffered: when you select test patterns, black reference is not affected. Since test patterns and black reference are generated from the same sync source, the horizontal and sub carrier phase match. Additionally, the unit has front panel program function for future standard/format upgrades. The unit can work under extreme conditions; generating very low heat and assuring 24/7 non-stop operation, and is protected by all metal enclosure from magnetic and electrical interference. This unit can survive most accidents that can happen to handheld and portable devices; even accidental drops and/or liquid spills may result in minimum repair requirement due to separately and strategically positioned front panel, main electronic board, and connectors.
