Product description The Comtek FPM-216 bundles together several items into a field monitoring kit. These items include the M-216 Transmitter (Option P7)—which provides a 3.5mm line-level mini input and up to 40 hours of in-the-field operation off a single 9V battery—and two PR-216 beltpack receivers for hearing the incoming audio from the M-216 transmitter. Also provided is a case to transport the aforementioned gear. With this bit of kit, you'll be able to transmit audio straight into the ear of two compatriots, which has its uses: From location sound applications to assistive listening scenarios, this kit has a variety of in-the-field functions. - M-216 - Wireless Transmitter (Option P7) The M-216 Option P7 from Comtek is a high-quality wireless transmitter ideal for location sound applications. The line-level input allows you to connect a variety of audio sources, and the rugged 6" whip antenna provides a great transmission range. Use it with the PR-216 headphone receiver to create a confidential audio channel.
The M-216 Option P7 uses a combination of both analog and digital technologies to offer the best audio quality possible, with low noise, wide dynamic range, and a great frequency response. It can transmit on 38 standard channels and 19 high-fidelity channels for full compatibility. - Compact, lightweight beltpack is ruggedly built for use in the field

- PR-216 Beltpack IFB Receiver (76 Channels between 216 to 217 MHz) The Comtek PR-216 is a professional-quality personal monitor receiver ideal for use in broadcasting, motion pictures, assistive listening, tour guide monitoring, and other applications. It is designed to be used with M-216, M-216 Option P7, and BST-25/216 transmitters. It operates between 216 and 217 MHz, giving you 76 available channels in between.
The PR-216 receives Comtek's hi-fi companded channels as well as standard narrow-band channels for compatibility with receivers from other manufacturers. The beltpack is compact, rugged, and user-friendly. It uses high-efficiency, low-power microcircuits and a combination of digital and analog technologies for outstanding reliability and performance. - Operates in the 216-217 MHz frequency range
