Product description This is a proprietary 2.5" 1TB Server-Grade SSD from Convergent Design, made specifically for the Odyssey 7, 7Q, and 7Q+ monitors/recorders. It's designed to maintain the read/write speeds required by the Odyssey throughout its lifespan. It also features a power protection circuit that in the event of a power loss will close out the current file to prevent corruption of the file and remaining data.
This SSD uses a SATA III interface for offloading files to a computer. A SATA adapter is not included, but any off-the-shelf adapter or USB 3.0 SSD adapter will work.
Each Convergent Design Premium SSD is individually tested by Convergent Design for full compatibility with the Odysseys. Test results proved failures to be nearly non-existent. Prior to distribution, all units are burned in and checked for errors. - Approximate Record Times (Minutes)
