Product description The FS7 Cool-Rig with Cheeseplate from Cool-Lux is a compact shoulder mount solution for the Sony FS7 camera. At its core it features the multi-purpose SHIFT Baseplate, and is complete with a rosette adapter for the FS7 Handle and an 8" 15mm rod for the FS7 viewfinder. The SHIFT Baseplate is designed to provide support for most large and mid-size cameras, so this rig can be used with cameras other than the FS7 as well.
At the press of a button, the SHIFT Baseplate releases a flip-out chest support bar that helps balance the rig. When the bar is released, a soft and durable shoulder pad is also made available. When you fold it back up, it provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded tripod mount holes. The resting position of the bar is adjustable to different body types.
The SHIFT Baseplate offers front and rear 15mm rod ports with 1.9" of vertical adjustment on both sets, and it comes with 8" and 4" pairs of carbon fiber 15mm rods. It also provides 4.5" of sliding dovetail camera plate travel for balancing your camera.
The rosette adapter for the FS7 Handle secures to the rig via a single rod clamp and can be attached anywhere along the rods. The additional 8" rod for the FS7 viewfinder is included so you can replace the rod that normally holds the viewfinder in order to provide for a longer extension distance. Note: Some DSLRs/small cameras with lenses that sit close to the bottom surface of the camera will require an optional spacer or quick-release plate to properly center the rods. - Key Features
