Product description Utilizing a tone-wood combination commonly found in acoustic guitars, the 22T-CE from Cordoba is an acoustic/electric, tenor-range ukulele with a single-cutaway design. Its top is constructed out of solid spruce, while the back and sides are fashioned out of Indian Rosewood. This configuration gives the instrument a round, warm timbre, though it is slightly more pointed than its non-cutaway, completely acoustic counterpart, the 22T. The neck, measuring 17” in scale, offers a composite fingerboard with 18 frets. Mother-of-pearl dotted inlays at the 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th frets provide a visual indication of where you are on the fingerboard. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of bone, while the bridge is constructed out of rosewood.
For electronics, the 22T-CE includes a Cordoba 2-band preamp system and a piezo undersaddle pickup. Black ABS binding and a hand-inlaid wooden rope-pattern rosette lend aesthetic flourishes to the instrument. The open geared tuning machines are silver with black buttons. - Neck Features
