Product description Utilizing an exotic wood combination, the 24T-CE from Cordoba is an acoustic/electric, tenor-range Ukulele with a single-cutaway design. Its top is constructed out of solid cedar, while the back and sides are fashioned out of spalted maple. This combination lends a rich timbre to the instrument, with much in the way of projection, though it is slightly more pointed in tone than its non-cutaway, completely acoustic counterpart, the 24T.The neck, measuring 17” in scale, offers a composite fingerboard with 18 frets. Dotted inlays at the 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th frets provide a visual indication of where you are on the fingerboard. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of bone, while the bridge is constructed out of composite. For electronics, the 22T-CE includes a Cordoba 2Band preamp system and a piezo undersaddle pickup. Padauk binding and a padauk rosette give the instrument some lovely red accents in the aesthetics department. The open geared tuning machines are nickel with black buttons. - Neck Features
