Product description Crafted entirely of solid mahogany, the 30T-CE from Cordoba is a tenor-range, acoustic/electric Ukulele in a natural, gloss finish. Its back, neck, sides, and neck are constructed out of solid mahogany, which lends a full, rich timbre to the instrument, though it is slightly more pointed than its non-cutaway, completely acoustic counterpart, the 30T. With its Spanish-heel neck joint and fan bracing, the instrument's design has been inspired by Spanish classical guitars. This design imparts a greater resonance upon the ukulele when compared to many other models. The neck, measuring 17” in scale, offers a rosewood fingerboard with 18 frets. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of Graphtech's TUSQ, a material designed to impart all the sonic characteristics of ivory without any of the problems of organic materials, tonal or ethical. For electronics, the 30T-CE features an L.R. Baggs Five.O undersaddle pickup, specifically voiced for the ukulele's size and tone. The bridge is constructed out of rosewood, and aesthetic touches adorn the instrument, such as an abalone rosette around the soundhole and rosewood binding. The ukulele uses nickel Grover tuning machines with black buttons. A polyfoam case is provided with the instrument. - Neck Features
