Product description Designed to put the light, percussive sound of Flamenco at your fingertips, the España Series 45FP from Cordoba is a nylon-string classical guitar utilizing many high-quality woods in its construction. It sports a solid European spruce top with back and sides fashioned of Sycamore. The neck is crafted of Spanish cedar, providing a 25.6” scale, an ebony fingerboard, and 19 frets. As with many classical guitars, this Spanish-made instrument has no fret marker inlays, but other aesthetics abound, such as 2-ply purfling, and Indian rosewood binding. A dual-action truss rod is accessible for ensuring the neck remains straight.An Indian rosewood bridge affixes strings to the body. Since this instrument is primarily intended for Flamenco, a clear tap plate has been provided to prevent you from damaging the top in particularly percussive moments of expression. In a further nod to traditional Flamenco design, the 45FP employs traditional ebony friction pegs instead of the more commonly used tuning machines, lending this instrument a more authentic feel and construction. - Neck Features
