Product description Styled in a natural high-gloss finish, the Iberia Series C7-CE from Cordoba is a nylon-string acoustic/electric guitar with a soft cutaway body which combines the full, warm, and responsive tone of a solid Canadian cedar top with rosewood back and sides, resulting in a deeper, bassier tone. An onboard Fishman Presys Blend preamp system is included for amplifying the instrument. The instrument’s mahogany neck, measuring 25.6” in scale, is fitted with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard and mother-of-pearl side dot marker inlays at the fifth, seventh, ninth, and 12th frets for easier visual orientation. A bone nut and saddle are employed to bolster sustain and resonance on open strings. In addition, a two-way adjustable truss rod helps to keep the neck straight if needed when changes in climate or humidity occur. Aesthetic touches abound, such as maple and ebony top purfling, maple back and side purfling, and Indian rosewood binding. A rosewood bridge affixes strings to the body, while a set of Cordoba Tuning Machines secures them at the headstock. For electronics, this instrument is outfitted with a Fishman Presys Blend preamp system, which includes an undersaddle piezo pickup and an internal microphone. The preamp system provides controls for volume, bass, middle, and treble, as well as a notch knob for eliminating low-end feedback, and a phase switch to improve bass response at low volume and suppress feedback at high volume. A mic blend control allows you to adjust the balance between the internal microphone and the pickup, and an internal mic trim pot provides further adjustment to fine-tune the mic's level. Also provided is a built-in tuner, which makes it easy to check your tuning and quickly make adjustments between songs.
