Product description Styled in a high-gloss finish, the Luthier Series C9 Parlor from Cordoba is a 7/8-size, nylon-string, classical guitar, which combines the full, warm, and responsive tone of a Canadian cedar top with solid mahogany back and sides. As such, the guitar will tend to have a full-bodied and rounded sound. A fan bracing pattern provides the soundboard’s center a large surface area, which, when vibrating and responding to your strings’ tension, facilitates a loud and projecting sound.The instrument’s mahogany neck, measuring 24.8” in scale, is outfitted with a rosewood fingerboard and 19 frets, joining the body at the 12th fret. You’ll find side-position inlays at the fifth, seventh, and ninth frets for easier visual orientation. An accessible 4mm truss rod will come in handy for neck adjustments, while a bone nut helps bolster sustain and resonance on open strings.Aesthetic touches abound, such as six-ply colored-wood top purfling, three-ply maple and ebony back-and-side purfling, and Indian rosewood binding. A rosewood bridge affixes strings to the body, while at the headstock, Cordoba Premium Gold Tuning Machines with black, ebony-style buttons have been employed. These tuning machines sport a gear ratio of 14:1 for precise tuning, giving you a string-roller spacing of 35mm. A Cordoba Polyfoam Case is included to help your instrument stay protected from harsh interior conditions when not in use. - Neck Features
