Product description Intended to put the bright, percussive sound of Flamenco at your fingertips and to facilitate amplification and high-fret soloing while doing so, the Iberia Series GK Studio from Cordoba is a nylon-string classical with a solid European spruce top, as well as a cypress back and sides, all in a single-cutaway design intended to promote access to high frets. The mahogany neck provides a 25.6” scale, a rosewood fingerboard, and 19 frets. A 4mm truss rod is accessible for ensuring that the neck stays straight, and a bone nut has been employed to bolster sustain and resonance on open strings. This guitar offers side-position inlays at the fifth, seventh, ninth, and 12th frets. Other aesthetics abound, such as 3-ply maple and ebony top purfling and Indian rosewood binding. An Indian rosewood bridge affixes strings to the body. At the headstock, you’ll find Cordoba Tuning Machines. For electronics, this instrument is outfitted with a Fishman Presys preamp system, an undersaddle piezo pickup, and an internal microphone. The preamp system provides bass, middle, and treble controls, as well as a notch knob for eliminating feedback, and a mic blend control to balance the internal microphone with the pickup. You’ll get an overall volume knob and a mic trim pot to further adjust levels. Also provided is a phase knob for further feedback busting, and a built-in tuner.Since this instrument is primarily intended for Flamenco, a clear tap plate has been pre-installed to prevent you from damaging the top in particularly percussive moments of expression. A gig bag has been included to help you take the instrument from gig to gig in a protected manner. - Neck Features
