Product description Designed for the traveling guitarist, the Cordoba Mini SM-CE is a nylon-stringed instrument providing the playability of a full-sized classical guitar in a miniature body. Additionally, its preamp allows you to play the instrument in amplified situations. Its single-cutaway design is constructed from a solid cedar top with spalted maple back and sides. This combination gives you a natively warm tone complemented by the intrinsic brightness of the maple. The neck, measuring 20” in scale, provides a thin-U profile, a rosewood fingerboard, and 18 frets, with side-position inlays at the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, 12th, and 15th frets. To improve resonance and sustain for the open strings, the nut and saddle are constructed of bone. Silver tuning machines with black buttons secure strings to the headstock, while a rosewood bridge anchors the strings to the body.For electronics, the Mini SM-CE provides a Cordoba 2Band preamp system and a piezo pickup. The instrument is factory tuned a fourth up from traditional classical guitars, though you can purchase a set of standard-tuned Mini strings to play the guitar in its standard range. You’ll find aesthetic touches adorning the instrument, such as black and white ABS purfling, padauk binding, and a padauk and black ABS rosette around the soundhole. The instrument comes with a gig bag. - Neck Features
