Product description A Buying Guide for Solar and Solar Eclipse Viewing Read More aquuxfebtrwyfvdqtdffyfrquzsd Tuned to the popular hydrogen-alpha wavelength, the 90° 10mm H-Alpha Blocking Filter from Coronado is designed to be used on OTAs with focal lengths of up to 1000mm, and is the secondary interference filter in a Coronado solar viewing system. For safe viewing and to protect the optical system, it must be used in conjunction with a front SolarMax filter. The snout and eyepiece holder are made to fit 1.25" drawtubes and eyepieces, and the 90° mirror positions the user's head in a comfortable viewing position - especially when aimed at or near the zenith. While SolarMax filters are sold in kits that include a blocking filter, this 10mm filter is offered here for viewers who have two different sized telescopes that they want to use their SolarMax system with but require a different size blocking filter.
