Product description The 2.5" SSD and Hard Disk Drive Cloning Kit from Corsair is a user-friendly way to upgrade your hard drive or solid state drive to a larger drive. It includes a cable for connecting a 2.5" SSD or notebook hard drive to a USB port, and automated software for copying hard drive data. - The kit clones the old drive's content and frees you from the task of re-installing the operating system, applications, and data on your new drive
- Its USB interface has a transfer rate of about 4.5 times faster than that of USB 2.0. The included USB 3.0 cable is for systems with a USB 3.0 interface. It is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports
- The kit works with any SSD. It includes a migration software as well as a USB 3.0 to SATA cable that allows you to move data from an existing HDD/SSD to a new SSD, regardless of its form factor. Just attach your HDD/SSD to your laptop or notebook's USB port using the included cable, run the software, and then replace your old drive with the new one
