Product description The beige Countryman B2D Directional Mini Lavalier Microphone for Shure TA4F is among the smallest directional lavalier microphones ever made, making it a good choice for theaters, churches, schools, interviews, and other lavalier applications. Its frequency response is optimized for speech intelligibility and it features a hypercardioid polar pattern which provides 6 to 10 dB more headroom than an omnidirectional lavalier microphone. This is helpful for reducing problems related to room rumble, ambient noise, feedback, and phase cancelations from multiple microphones. The lavalier's small size makes it suitable for a number of mounting applications such as on the chest, forehead, taped in front of the ear, on a tie clip, or in a button hole. It can handle an SPL of up to 140 dB before distorting and includes removable protective caps for keeping the element clean. For durability, the microphone features an aramid reinforced cable with a break strength of more than 45 lb.
For convenience, the microphone features a detachable connector system allowing you to use it with different wireless transmitter packs or as an XLR input. This model comes with a detachable Shure TA4F connector. The microphone also comes included with an isolation clip that minimizes vibration and clothing noise, while rotating 360 degrees for precise positioning. Double microphone and magnetic isolation clips are also available for purchase.
