Product description The black Data Express DE275 3.5" Removable Drive Steel Enclosure from CRU-DataPort is a complete assembly with a removable drive carrier and frame, which accepts a 3.5" low profile SAS or SATA 3 Gb/s hard drive of any capacity, in its carrier. The compact design allows the DE275 enclosure to fit into 5.25" drive bays. The host (I/O) port of the enclosure operates at the speed of up to 3 Gb/s. The external drive carrier is hot-swappable with host support, so there is no need to power down the computer to switch drives. It includes two thumbscrews for enhanced stability and 1" low profile design of this enclosure minimizes the space required for installation. This removable drive enclosure is suitable for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a reliable and versatile removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect sensitive data. The DE275 connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000 insertions. Its soft start circuitry increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during drive spin-up. The stainless steel construction of this enclosure dissipates heat and ensures the safety of your drives. This enclosure provides reliable performance, while protecting data. - Fit into 5.25" drive bays
