Product description The black Data Express DX115 SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s Removable Drive Enclosure from CRU-DataPort is a complete assembly with removable drive carrier and frame. It is suitable for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect sensitive data. The removable frame mounts into 5.25" peripheral bays. Its receiving frame offers 6 Gb/s performance, when used with a 6 Gb/s drive and host configuration. The enclosure is backwards compatible with 3 Gb/s drives and hosts. The soft start circuitry of the enclosure increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up. Furthermore, the enclosure's connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000 insertions. Its stainless steel construction dissipates heat and ensures the safety of your drives.
