Product description The Data Express DX115 SAS/SATA 6G 3.5" Removable HDD Carrier from CRU is a part of the DX115 SAS/SATA removable drive enclosure complete assembly. It allows installation of a 3.5" SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s hard drive of any capacity. This carrier fits in a DX115 SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s frame, which further fits in a 5.25" peripheral bay.The soft-start circuitry increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up. The receiving frame offers a 6 Gb/s performance when used with a 6 Gb/s drive and host configuration and it is backwards compatible with 3 Gb/s drives and hosts. The Data Express DX115 SAS/SATA 6G connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000 insertions. The rugged, steel construction of this removable enclosure dissipates heat and ensures the safety of your drives. It is suitable for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a reliable and versatile removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect their sensitive data. - Allows installation of a 3.5" SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s hard drive
