Product description The black DataPort 10 USB-to-SATA Removable Drive Enclosure from CRU-DataPort is a complete assembly with a removable drive carrier and frame, which accepts a 3.5" SATA hard drive. It is suitable for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect sensitive data. The frame mounts in most computer bays (PC and Mac), makes swapping drives easy for additional storage. The DataPort 10 aluminum carrier and frame dissipate heat, while ensuring the safety of your data. Each carrier is equipped with CRU-Dataport's patented Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS), and an audible alarm will notify you if the drives begin to overheat so that you can prevent data loss or drive malfunction/damage. USB host connection on the frame for hot-swapping, so there is no need to power down to switch drives. The enclosure is engineered and warranted for over 30,000 insertions using durable Hirose connectors. Frames are mounted with recessed connectors to protect the host connections. - 3.5" low profile SATA 3 Gb/s hard disk drive chassis
