Product description The black DataPort5+ 3.5" SATA 3 Gb/s HDD Carrier from CRU-DataPort is a part of the DataPort5+ 3.5" SATA 3 Gb/s removable drive enclosure complete assembly. It allows installation of a 3.5" SATA hard drive and supports fast drive swapping for additional storage. This carrier fits in a DP5+ SATA 3 Gb/s frame, which further fits into a 5.25" peripheral bay. The aluminum alloy construction of the carrier helps to dissipate heat, while ensuring the safety of your data. It is equipped with connectors that are tested and verified for up to 25,000 insertions. This carrier features LED indicators for power and drive activity. You can secure your data with either a latch or powered keylock to prevent unauthorized access to the drive, or accidental removal during operation. It is suitable for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a removable drive carrier to store, transport, and protect sensitive data.
