Product description The Ditto Forensic FieldStation from CRU-DataPort is a professional forensic FieldStation for data capture and analysis. It replaces a laptop or other host machine during data acquisition. The FieldStation is portable and can be used for creating disk clones. You can configure, manage, and operate via a networked/VPN Web browser interface. It images from and writes to network locations, one or two SATA drives, or one or two eSATA mass storage devices. The FieldStation also creates standard DD or E01 disk images. It automatically logs activity that can be saved along with case information. In addition, the FieldStation is made up of rugged, all-metal, fan-free construction, and is easily upgradable. Key Features - Source Inputs (Write-Blocked): eSATA (SATA), PATA, USB 2.0, one PCIe expansion port, Gigabit network (NFS, iSCSI, Samba)
- Destination Outputs: Dual eSATA (SATA) ports to store acquired data on one or two drives in a single pass, SD card, Gigabit network (NFS, iSCSI, Samba)
- Data Acquisition Modes: Image DD, image E01 with empty block compression, clone
Hash Types: MD5, SHA-1, MD5+SHA-1 - System configuration management via front panel LCD or web browser interface
- Web browser allows file system exploration, file preview, and file download of attached drives
- User profiles can be password protected and assigned specific permission levels
- Data log captures a complete history of data acquisitions and can be managed and printed from Web browser or extracted to user-specific document
- Ability to erase destination drives using preset erase modes or user configurable option
- Stealth mode for use with night vision goggles (not included)
- Portable
- The hand-held Ditto Forensic FieldStation can be used on the go or by a technician for use in creating disk clones and images. Configure and manage via a network or on the unit itself. The Ditto FieldStation also helps you log user activity and maintain your chain of custody while using forensic (write-blocked) methods.
- Flexibility and Speed via Browser-Based Interface
- A user-friendly Web browser interface supports remote operation via network or VPN, providing access to Ditto configuration, user administration, and user rights, as well as direct operation of Ditto cloning and imaging operations. This time and money-saving capability speeds time to capture data, as well as allow organizations to optimize staffing and deployment.
- Create Images in the Field
- The built-in menu system makes it easy to configure and perform forensic captures, without an attached computer.
- Suspect Inputs (Write-Blocked)
- Ditto supports write-blocked inputs such as SATA, eSATA, PATA, USB2.0. Additional acquisition interfaces are available via expansion modules, such as the Ditto USB 3.0 expansion module and Ditto SAS expansion module.
- Destination Outputs
- Use dual SATA outputs simultaneously with same performance as one eSATA (single, dual, and mirrored). Images can also be output to large volumes, including NAS and other network destinations, as well as portable RAID enclosures.
- Data Acquisition Modes
- It captures Clone, DD, E01 with MD5 or SHA-1 hashing. Ditto also offers a combined mode that captures a clone and DD (to different destination drives) in a single pass reading of the suspect drive.
- Complete and Secure Erasure
