Product description The DP20 2.5" SATA Removable Drive Enclosure with Lock from CRU-DataPort is a complete assembly with removable hard drive carrier and frame that accepts 2.5" SATA hard drives and solid state drives up to 9.5mm thick. This frame and removable carrier combination allows you to add removable storage to the small bays in your computer. You can secure your data with the powered key lock to prevent unauthorized access to your drive or accidental removal during operation. The frame mount meets standard SFF-8552 (revision 1.4) specifications for 12.7mm slim-line optical bay drives found in most laptops, desktops, and workstations. The fully enclosed metal hard drive carrier provides rugged data protection for the enclosure. The enclosure is designed to support over 25,000 insertions using durable connectors. It is suitable in Government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need removable drive enclosures to store, transport, and protect sensitive data. - Designed to fit into 12.7mm slim-line optical drive bays
- Removable carrier allows quick and easy access to drives for hot-swapping or data mobility
- Mechanical key lock on frame to prevent accidental ejection of the carrier
