Product description The black DX115 Digital Cinema 6 Gb/s Hard Drive Enclosure from CRU-DataPort is a complete assembly with a removable drive carrier and frame, which accepts a 3.5" SATA hard drive of any capacity in its carrier. It has a host (I/O) port, which operates at speeds of up to 6 Gb/s and is also compatible with 3 Gb/s drives. The "Auto Start" feature allows the drive carriers to be automatically powered up in seconds after the carrier has been installed. It is designed for digital cinema media on 2.5" or 3.5" SAS or SATA drives and provides a user-friendly way to transport digital content made up of steel and aluminum. The enclosure also offers a Host Activity LED feature which allows the choice of having the disk drive or the PCI host adapter control. - 6 Gb/s signal with "Serial Repeater Chip" located on the frame
