Product description The black DX115 SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s Removable Frame from CRU DataPort is a part of the DX115 SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s complete assembly removable drive enclosure. The complete assembly consists of a frame and a drive carrier. The frame mounts into any 5.25" peripheral bay and is compatible with Mac and Windows. Soft start circuitry increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up. The receiving frame offers 6 Gb/s performance when used with a 6 Gb/s drive and host configuration, and it is backwards compatible with 3 Gb/s drives and hosts. Furthermore, the connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000+ insertions. The stainless steel construction of this removable enclosure with a cooling fan helps to dissipate heat and ensures the safety of your drive. It provides reliable performance, while protecting data. - SAS frames compatible with SATA drive carriers
