Product description The 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz RDIMM Memory Kit from Crucial comes in a package of two 8GB memory modules for increasing the performance of your server. Each 288-pin memory module is designed to run at a 2400 MHz frequency (PC4-19200) with a CAS latency of 17. When compared to DDR3, DDR4 memory processes data faster while requiring only 1.2V of power. For critical calculations, ECC is onboard to detect and correct data corruption. To increase the reliability of high-speed data access, the modules contain registers for temporarily holding the data. Moreover, Crucial has outfitted the dual-ranked memory modules with x8-based chips. - Maximize Channel Density
- High-density modules make it easy to scale up in the future as dependence on server applications increases through expanded virtualization, OLTP, Big Data, in-memory databases all of which rely on memory density and performance.
