Product description The RPS Win3U Rackmount 8 5U from Cubix consists of a HostEngine 3U RP Rackmount Computer which is connected to the Xpander Rackmount 8 5U PCIe Enclosure. Both chassis are rack-mountable and rugged. The Xpander Rack Mount 8 PCIe Enclosure enables the connection of 8 dual-slot or single-slot graphics cards with rear-connected auxiliary power cables to the host computer. The enclosure has two Main Interface Boards (MIBs), each with four PCIe x16 slots for a total of eight GPUs like the NVIDIA Quadro K5200 or M6000. The Xpander Rack Mount 8 comes fitted with one AMD FirePro W2100 and two NVIDIA Quadro K5200 graphics cards. The HostEngine 3U RP Rackmount Computer features dual Intel Xeon E5-2660v3 series processors with the Intel C612 chipset and 1,000W redundant power supply. It offers four PCIe gen 3.0 x16 expansion slots. Each slot can accommodate a half-height, half-length controller such as the Cubix HIC (Host Interface Controller) that connects to the Xpander Rack Mount 8 Enclosure. The system is loaded with Windows 8.1 Pro, all updates and drivers, as well as Cubix GPU Manager, for monitoring the health and performance of both the GPUs and Xpander. - GPU management software for asset management of GPUs, health monitoring, and technical support
- Supports up to eight PCIe Gen 3 x16 expansion slots (all supporting both dual-slot and single-slot cards)
- Add up to eight powerful GPUs (such as NVIDIA Quadro K5200 or M6000) within minutes for fast hardware acceleration
- Multiple accelerators can access flash cards and other accelerators without accessing the root complex (central processing unit)
- 128 Gbps theoretical transfer rate
- Two 4-slot MIBs in a 19" rack mount system (5U height)
- Multiple cooling fans to meet almost any expansion requirement (per MIB)
- Each x16 cable and connector provides a 250 mating duty cycle
- Redundant power supply eliminates the possibility of down time if one power supply goes down; simple access and replacement
