Product description The MC404 CAE Wah Pedal from Custom Audio Electronics is a versatile pedal with top-grade components is a versatile pedal with top-grade components, featuring dual Fasel inductors with two distinct voices, and a built-in MC401 Boost/Line Driver. It can be used with electric guitar, bass or keyboards in applications for live stage, theater, recording studios, rehearsals, and more. Developed by Bob Bradshaw of Custom Audio Electronics and the Cry Baby design team, the MC404's two inductors (yellow and red) allow you to choose from either high-end emphasis or low-to-mid resonance voices. A switch on the side toggles between the two inductors, and operational status is indicated by corresponding yellow and red LEDs. Internal trim pots can be used to adjust the "Q" for each inductor. To boost the wah signal, engage the Boost/Line Driver using a switch on the opposite side, and set the desired level of boost up to +20 dB with the Boost Volume control knob. Operational status for the boost is indicated by a blue LED. In addition, an adjustable torque clutch located below the heel of the rocker regulates the amount of resistance needed to move the rocker, allowing the player to set it where it feels most comfortable for their personal style. Finally, the MC404 has true hardwire bypass, a long-life CTS potentiometer, and is built tough to withstand heavy use. It can be powered by a single 9V battery or a 9 VDC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
