Product description The PDU81004 Switched Metered-by-Outlet Power Distribution Unit from CyberPower delivers reliable, unfiltered AC power from a UPS, generator, or utility source to multiple IEC-320 C13 devices. The power distribution unit sports an input IEC-320 C13 connection as well as eight IEC-320 C13 outlets to distribute electrical power to various equipment. It provides monitoring in real time, individual outlet control for remote reboots, automated load shedding, controlled power-cycling, and more. Management of the PDU can be accomplished via an interactive digital display and power event notifications along with Ethernet and serial networking connections. With this feature, information on the amount of power being drawn from each outlet can be monitored. In addition, this PDU is designed with a 1 RU form factor and is compatible with 100 to 240 VAC electrical grids. - Network-grade, power distribution plus load meters (amps) help prevent overloads and safely optimize load levels.
- Network-grade power distribution with remote monitoring through an SNMP network interface and local management via a digital meter display to prevent downtime due to overloads or other power events.
- Intelligent, network-grade power distribution and the ability to control outlets individually or collectively to solve power issues such as shutdowns or to plan scheduled rebooting. A digital meter provides information on load and voltage, as well as local control of the outlets. An SNMP connection enables remote monitoring and control of the outlets to ensure complete control regardless of location.
- Monitor the power consumption of individual outlets in real-time over the network, or locally using the PDU's interactive digital display. Outlets can be switched on and off remotely for unscheduled reboots, automated load shedding, controlled power-cycling and more.
- If power for the primary source exceeds the lower or upper thresholds, or if power fails, the PDU features a dual-power cord design that will switch to the secondary power source to ensure continuous operation.
- Maintenance Bypass PDUs allow the seamless transfer of an electrical load from UPS power to utility power for uninterrupted operation of connected equipment when performing maintenance, replacing batteries, or installing a new UPS.
- Switch-Free Design safeguards against accidental power shutdown.
- Automatic event notifications provide updates about power events via email, SMS text, or SNMP traps.
- Digital display offers easy-to-read information about amperage, voltage, KW, IP address, and other PDU information.
- Cord retention tray included to help cords stay plugged in and keep them organized and accessible.
